What is delegation and who does it? |
Each user's User Profile contains the name of another member of their Buying Organization as their designated approver.
If the approver is away from their desk, all Shopping Carts sent for their approval are held until their return. To get around this hold up, the approver can go to their own User Profile and delegate approval responsibilities to another user.
For the period of delegation, the approver's higher Approval Limit is also delegated.
