How do I change my logon name and password?

Your logon ID (or name) is assigned by the Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Administrator and identifies to Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition the privileges you have to access the system.

You cannot change your User Login ID, but you can change your logon password at any time.

Before changing your password, contact with your system administrator to find out your organization's rules about creating or issuing passwords, the minimum number of characters it must include, and so on.

To change your password, view the User Profile and select the Change Password tab:

To change your password:

  1. Go to the Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Home page

  2. In the Services drop-down menu, select Profile

The browser displays the User profile page.

  3. Click the Change Password tab to change your logon password

  4. Type your old password to be recognized by Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition

  5. Type your new password

  6. Type your new password again for confirmation

  7. Click Save

Your password is now changed. Make a note of it in a safe place!

The new password you type here is encrypted and displayed only as a line of asterisks (*****). Be sure to remember your new password (or write it down in a safe place). You will need it the next time you log on to Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition.
