How to get more information about an item? |
The Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition catalog contains two descriptions of every item. One is the short description displayed on either the Search and Shopping Cart pages:
Click on any item's short description in order to display the Item Detail page that may include:
A more detailed long description of the item's features and capabilities
A picture of the item
A technical specifications sheet for the item
A demonstration video or audio file
The URL of the manufacturer's web site
etc, etc...
Some suppliers also support the Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition RoundTrip function. This allows you to visit their website and:
View items that may be in the catalog
Get more information about items in order make
your purchasing decision
Specify options and combinations not available in the Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition catalog
To do this:
Click
the RoundTrip tab
The browser displays a list of all of the suppliers who support RoundTrip.
Click
on a suppliers name.
The browser opens a secondary window displaying the supplier's web site.
