Some orders require you to select from a large number of conditions, for example:
Purchasing a suite of office furniture, or
computer
Hiring a temporary employee
For such
purchase, the system
supplies you with a customized
SmartForm
including all of the necessary choices. When you click
, to add the item to your Shopping Cart, the system
opens a secondary browser window containing a blank copy of the necessary
SmartForm.
The layout of a SmartForm varies with the type and amount of information required by the supplier. For example, this SmartForm requests information required for printing business cards, such as your name, job title, office address and so on.
You may enter as much (or as little) information into the form as is necessary to define your purchase, then click Continue.
Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition carries the captured information with the Shopping Cart, through the workflow process, and transmits it to the supplier.
Line items, in a Shopping Cart or
Order, that include
SmartForm information, have
appended.
