Changing Your
Logon Password |
Before changing your password, contact with your
Administrator to find out your organization's rules about creating or issuing passwords,
the minimum number of characters it must include, and so on. You cannot change
your Logon name.
To
change your password:
- Select
Profile in the General menu on the Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Home
page.
The browser displays your User Profile.
- Click
the Change Password tab.
Three text boxes are displayed. You may type into these text boxes, but your
entries are shown in an encoded as asterisks (*****)
- Click
in the Old Password text box and type the password you used to log on
to this session.
- Click
in the New Password text box and type the password you want to use in
future.
- For
confirmation, click in the Re-Type New Password text box and type the
password you want to use in future, again.
- Click
[Save]
(or [Reset]
to cancel the operation.)
If you typed the
same new password both times, the system permanently changes your password and displays
confirmation.
If the two new password entries do not agree, system reports an error.
Return to step 3 and try again.
