After selecting an item from the catalog, but before submitting your Shopping Cart for processing, you can view more information about this and similar items.

Click any underlined item short description in the Shop page, to see a long description and other information.

The browser displays the Item Details page containing  more information about the items, and tools you can use to find comparable items or sources for this item.

Browse Path

The browse path (or cookie crumb trail) shows all of the categories and sub-categories from the catalog top level down to this item. For example:

Entire Catalog > Cleaning Equipment and Supplies > Janitorial equipment > Cleaning equipment > Cleaning pails or buckets > ...

Click on any sub-category in the browse path to begin browsing at that point.

The browser displays the Shop - Search Catalog page and the contents of the selected category.

Basic Information

For the selected item, the browser displays:

• Item (short) Description
• Manufacturer (name)
• Supplier (name)
• Supplier Part Number (for the item)
• Supplier Part Number Extension (if any)
• Manufacturer Part Number (for the item)
• Increment Quantity

Pricing

For the selected item, the browser displays:

• Minimum Order Quantity
• Unit (of Measure, UOM)
• Unit Price (Currency) (expressed in the currency used by your Buying Organization)
• Unit Price (Currency) (expressed in the currency used by the supplier, if it is different from the currency used by your Buying Organization)

The actual price may vary from that shown here, if the supplier uses a different currency or if you are able to take advantage of tiered pricing.   

Long Description

This is a longer and more detailed description of the item you have selected.

Along with the item long description, the browser also displays:

Quantity	Click in this box (so that an |-beam pointer appears), and type the quantity of an item you want to buy (whole numbers, using 0 through 9 only, no fractions or decimals. This quantity is added to your Shopping Cart.
Actions	Click an icon to perform various actions on the selected item, such as:
		to add the item to your Shopping Cart. (Remember to first type number into the Quantity text box.)
		to display the Show All Suppliers  page, on which you can view different suppliers of the item and compare their prices.
		to add the item to your list of Favorite Items.
	If you mouse-over an icon, the browser displays a tool tip containing a few words explaining the action represented by the icon.
Display:	Click in this drop-down menu to select addition sources of information about the product, such as:
	Picture	An image
	MSDS	An audio file
	Tech Spec	A technical document or specification
	Website	A URL where you can find product information
	Overview	Other files such as:
		Multimedia or video files Screen capture or animation files with demonstrations of the product.

When you have finished viewing (or adding) product details, click [Close]. 

The browser re-displays your previous page.
