RoundTrip allows you to connect directly to a supplier's (or intermediary's) website to:

• View merchandise items, descriptions, pictures, multimedia, etc.
• Evaluate terms of payment, delivery, etc.
• Use configuration tools to select or specify dimensions, options and other details of an item
• Use the suppliers website to specify the purchase, and then submit it through the regular Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition approval workflow

Not all suppliers available in your Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition catalog may support RoundTrip

Click the RoundTrip tab, in the Shop page:

 Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition displays the RoundTrip page containing:

• An alphabetical list of all websites that you may visit
• Beside each website name is an icon indicating whether this website displays products from:
  
     A single supplier's catalog, or
  
     The catalogs of more than one supplier 
  
  
• After each website name is a brief description of the products and services available there.

 If there is large number of supplier RoundTrip websites available, you can simplify the task of selecting one by:

• Using the VCR-style controls to move quickly through a multi-page list of websites.
• Use the Filter by Supplier Type drop-down menu to limit the list to:
  • Only Single Supplier Catalog websites,
  • Only Multiple Supplier Catalog websites,
  • All websites.
• Typing all or part of a supplier name in the Supplier Name text box. 
  The system reduces the number of websites displayed, and the one you are looking for should be near the top of the new list.

Supplier Website

Click on the name of the supplier website from which you want to make a purchase. The browser opens a secondary window and displays the selected website.

There are no standards for RoundTrip website appearance or functionality. To navigate and shop on the supplier's website you must follow the procedures:

• Supplied separately to you by that supplier, or
• Available on the website.

When you've finished shopping and, if you want to, selected items to purchase, select a button which is labeled something like:

• "Shopping Cart"
• "Logout"
• "Return to Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition"

or follow the instructions provided by the supplier.

The supplier website window closes and, in the original browser window, you will see that the selected items have been added to your Shopping Cart on the Shop page (or to a new Shopping Cart, if you have just begun shopping.)

You may continue shopping in Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition, or proceed to the Shopping Cart page and submit your shopping for approval.

Any selections made using RoundTrip, are carried with your Shopping Cart through the system workflow according to the standard rules and your User Profile.
