The Shopping Cart Page and Checking Out 

The Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Shopping Cart page allows you to view and adjust Shopping Carts before you submit them.

To view a Shopping Cart and its contents:

The browser displays the selected Shopping Cart and, for each item in the cart:

Quantity Click in this box (so that an |-beam pointer appears), and type the quantity of an item you want to buy (whole numbers, using 0 through 9 only, no fractions or decimals.) This quantity is added to your Shopping Cart.
Unit The unit of measurement (UOM) for this item. For example, PK is package, CT is carton, EA is each. The Item Description includes an explanation of how many of each item is contained in the Unit of measurement.
Item Description  This short description is a hyperlink.  Click on it to view a longer description and other details such as pictures, technical drawing, animations, web page links, etc.
Actions  Click an icon to perform an action on the selected item, such as: 

  

to view the Item Detail page, on which you can select to:
Show all Suppliers for the item

to view the Show All Suppliers page, on which you may see other suppliers of the item and their prices. (If there are no other suppliers, then Show all Suppliers for the item is not displayed.)

Delete this selection to remove a the  item from your Shopping Cart.
If you mouse-over an icon, the browser displays a tool tip containing a few words explaining the action represented by the icon.

Supplier 
Supplier Part Number
Unit Price (Currency)  The unit price of the item expressed in the currency used by your Buying Organization. The actual price may vary from this if the supplier uses a different currency or if you are able to take advantage of tiered pricing.

For the complete Shopping Cart, the browser displays:

Subtotal (Currency)  The total cost of all quantities of all items in the Shopping Cart, expressed in the currency used by your Buying Organization. The actual price may vary from this if the supplier uses a different currency or if you are able to take advantage of tiered pricing.   
Estimated Tax (Currency)  The estimated tax due on all items in the Shopping Cart, expressed in the currency used by your Buying Organization

Click on Estimated Tax (Currency) to display the Tax Details page.

Total (Currency)  The amount due, item expressed in the currency used by your Buying Organization. This price may be adjusted if after submission, if you are able to take advantage of tiered pricing. This total price is the amount compared with your Spending Limit, and used to determine whether your Shopping Cart must be routed to an Approver.

If you make any changes to the items or quantities in your shopping cart, click [Update Total] to recalculate these amounts.     


Tax Details Page

Click on Estimated Tax (Currency) on the Shopping Cart page to display the Tax Details page.

For the estimated reported for the Shopping Cart, this page displays:

Before Checking Out

Before submitting your Shopping Cart for approval, you can:

After you've viewed you Shopping Cart and made all necessary changes, you can Submit your Shopping Cart for approval and creation of Orders.
