Specifying Home Organizations

You can simplify Administrator access to Buying Organizations by assigning a Home Organization to each Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Administration task. 

After a Home Organization has been assigned to each task:

You can assign a Home Organization to the following Enterprise Buyer 2.0 Desktop Edition Administration modules:


Assigning a Home Organization to a Cost Center

  1. In the tree menu, select Setup | Cost Centers.

    The Cost Center search page is displayed.

  2. In the Cost Center Name text box, enter the name of a Cost Center.

    If you're not sure about the correct spelling, type part of the name
    or type a wildcard symbol (*).
    A list is displayed of all matching Cost Centers.

For each Cost Center to which you want to assign a Home Organization:

  1. Click [Edit], next to the Cost Center name.

  2. Select a Home Organization in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click [Save].

Assigning a Home Organization to an Address

  1. In the tree menu, select Setup | Addresses.

    The Address search page is displayed.

  2. In the Company Name text box, enter the name of a company or division.

    If you're not sure about the correct spelling, type part of the n
    ame or type a wildcard symbol (*).
    A list is displayed of all matching companies.

For each Company address to which you want to assign a Home Organization:

  1. Click [Edit], next to the Company name.

  2. Select a Home Organization in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click [Save].

Assigning a Home Organization to a Contact

  1. In the tree menu, select Setup | Contacts.

    The Contact search page is displayed.

  2. In the Contact Name text box, enter the name of a contact.

    If you're not sure about the correct spelling, type part of the name or type a wildcard symbol (*).
    A list is displayed of all matching Contacts.

For each Contact to which you want to assign a Home Organization:

  1. Click [Edit], next to the Contact name.

  2. Select a Home Organization in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click [Save].

Assigning a Home Organization to a Bill To Address

  1. In the tree menu, select Setup | Bill To Addresses.

    The Bill To Address search page is displayed.

  2. In the Contact or Company Name text box, enter a name.

    If you're not sure about the correct spelling, typ
    e part of the name or type a wildcard symbol (*).
    A list is displayed of all matching Bill To Addresses.

For each Bill To Address to which you want to assign a Home Organization:

  1. Click [Edit], next to the contact or company name.

  2. Select a Home Organization in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click [Save].

Assigning a Home Organization to a Ship To Address

  1. In the tree menu, select Setup | Ship To Addresses.

    The Ship To Address search page is displayed.

  2. In the Contact or Company Name text box, enter a name.

    If you're not sure about the correct spelling, type part of the name or type a wildcard symbol (*).
    A list is displayed of all matching Ship To addresses.

For each Ship To Address to which you want to assign a Home Organization:

  1. Click [Edit], next to the contact or company name.

  2. Select a Home Organization in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click [Save].
